Based in Georgetown, Pant & Wag is the premier pet care company in Washington, D.C. We are committed to enhancing the lives of dogs and their humans. We specialize in providing incredible Fitness Adventures for dogs that promote health, happiness, and overall well-being. Established in 2010, we've had jobs for students at Georgetown University, George Washington University, and American University since the very beginning. Many of our past student workers keep in touch as alumni by following their team of dogs on our social channels and even visiting in person to reunite with their favorite pup.

Work for us and you'll have the opportunity to enjoy the great outdoors, breathe in the fresh air, and engage with nature at many of the best nature parks in the Washington D.C. metro area.   • Dog-Lover's Dream: If you love dogs, this job is a dream come true. You'll be spending quality time with a variety of pups, building strong relationships and making a positive impact on their lives.


  • Extra Spending Money: "I can't believe I get paid for this!" is a phrase we've heard over and over again. You won't get rich working with  Pant & Wag, but you'll earn enough spending money in these positions to actually have a bit of a social life or buy some new running shoes. During the summer months (May-September) We pay $30 per hour (driving position) or $25 per hour (non-driving position), which makes our hourly wage significantly higher than most app-based jobs, dog walker jobs, and entry level retail jobs.


  • Easy Commute: Most of our clients live in the Georgetown neighborhood and we have several pick-up points just footsteps away from campus. You don't need a car and you don't even need to take the bus!


  • Resume Booster: Gain valuable work experience and enhance your skill set. Being an associate canine fitness coach showcases your responsibility, time management, and ability to work independently – all qualities future employers are looking for after you graduate. There's a good chance your future boss will have a dog and this intriguing job title will catch their eye and make your resume stand out from the pack (pun intended!) Our past student workers have gone on to medical school, law school, work in Government and are leaders in the private sector. We are always happy to provide a reference or a letter of recommendation for our dedicated workers.
